The proper title after being called to the BAR/ admitted to the BAR is Esquire. That's the only 'stoosh' title lawyers get.

Again, you have to do what you have to do in the jurisdiction in which u live. It's all silly for them to make much about this. I remember Americans being upset when we got credit for A'levels when we started college.

The writer makes great points. His concluisons are generally correct. Americans love to big up themselves and Jamaicans back home don't like to big them up as much.

They see that these JD people might just end up getting more money than they do. When one is under attack then instinct says lash out.

Fact still remains that in the U.S. the JD is a graduate degree and the LLB is not.
