So did you have the tofurkey for thanksgiving?
Never heard it put quite like that Sis Dine.
Yardie, I gave up on beef when the first set of mad cow stuff broke - with the exception of I still had a few patties. Now, even that is out the window. I cannot force the family to do what I do, so I know there will still be some meat - not beef directly, but I can still see them wanting ox-tail. Now, I went to visit my friend of Christmus eve and she gave up on chicken over 30 years now - even though she is mid-40's. They cooked her pet chicken for christmus one year and that did it for her. She was the one who told me last week that they feed this mess to chickens as well.
So, here I was doing only the chicken and fish thing, and now I am dumbfounded. As Sis Dine said, I don't know if I can really go the full vegan stuff, so I want to ask you, what is a day's meal like for you - B/L/D? I have been reading and trying to deal with what changes I will have to make and though I don't want it to be a new year's resolution, I really need to make a decision and your opinion will count. Let me know.
Do they do this crazy type of feeding to the cows in Ja? I know I only eat chicken that is grown in someone's yard in Ja. Sis always have a few in her coop, so I know what I am eating when I am there. This whole thing is making me sick. Lata
