You and Yardy are giving us some good old-fashion debate that makes me want to stay in the back of the class and learn a ting or two. However, since you did ask, let me begin with I Corinthians 7:2: "Each man is to have his own wife and each woman is to have her own husband."

A good exegesis of this verse will unerringly lead to the conclusion that the Bible (New Testament) condemns polygamy. Notice, Paul is using the singular noun and verb in each case. It doesn't say, 'each man is to have his own WIVES.' In fact, the whole grammatical structure of the verse doesn't leave room to conclude otherwise. The adjective 'each', for example, makes this clear from start to finish.

In any event, my original barb was aimed at Denroy's wife and her wild suggestion that the Bible sanctions the kind of relationship she has with him.
