Speaking of heng dung... I am glad people are pointing things out to MW. He is one overrated soul.

What's going on, Mark?

Dear Editor,
Mr Mark Wignall seems to be playing his own poll. In a strange form of intellectual onanism he appears to be perverting his own conclusions on public opinion of Mr Bruce Golding as a leader.

With no other authority than unnamed "veteran JLP supporters" and "reformists", he is trying to play with the results of his own scientific polls and declare Golding null and void as a leader. What peculiar malady is it that affects Wignall at this time of year and causes him to enter into mortal combat with himself?

About this time last year, Wignall was also desperately contradicting himself about his own polls.
Careful, Mark, a good journalist (and a good pollster) has only one master-truth.

Mark, credibility should be your shield and sword - over the past year you have left yourself naked. With this latest exercise in "suss" and "carry go bring come", you are demonstrating a perversion of intellect that does not become you.

As far as your attempted exoneration of Mr Vaz is concerned, "methinks thou dost protest too much" and your words are too carefully chosen. If you did not meet Mr Vaz at his home or his office, is it possible that you met elsewhere or with his emissary?
