The Harper case naw go no whey for it has no legal leg on which to stand.. It had to be the lack of thought by a very inexperienced judge to make that order. If Jamaica was not short on judges I am pretty sure the likes of this bredda wudden deh pon di bench and him can come mek mi ap[oplogise or hold mi in contempt of court. From the time the old judge tell the woman in my presence that she has to have an address three miles from the court house in order to get justice at the Supreme Court of Jamaica, I know our bench had gone to the dawgs. School children in England can see Seaga s comment apart from his having the right to make them caused no loss and hence no harm to Harper. It was not that the enemy was told Harper is the enemy but rather Harpers friend was told Harper is their friend. How can that result in tort? Is he saying Seaga caused his friends to deny him? Further, Harper did not lose something he had or was even certain of having and I doubt something he was promised either so what loss did he suffer? Also, what false allegation did Seaga make? Is Harper saying he is not a PNP supporter? Is he saying he is a JLP supporter?

There is no humiliation for Seaga to apologise and as far as I am concerned. It is Skeng who should be humiliated for now having the whole nation know he is deemed illiterate. The irony of the situation is that Seaga was provided forum to say what he said a little louder-now everybody can hear. Now there is a sign of illiteracy. As to his being generous! Who are you kidding? Nobody does that if they have their case wrapped up. This bargaining is done when chances are 50-50. Truth is a defence and Skeng no have even one piece a paper fi show sey him no illiterate if Seaga did simply insist that he is to the court. If a mi a Seaga Lawyer there is no damn way I would let him bargain.
