I did a yahoo search for IMF information and came up on that article. You make a valid point, yes there were days when we had to know our place, maybe lacking courage as the write states. It saddens me deeply to think that the Jamaican government would treat its own like that. We are here having a better life hoping that someday we can go back but just think if this downward slope continues there will be no Jamaica to go back to.


btw my friend was the interpreter (patois to english)at the trial for the 17 year old boy for both the Antiguans and Jamaicans. The media is something else. Seems the father is not as bad as they want us to believe. Seems the mother stole the boy from him when he went to Caymen to find employment. Father broke down, Aunty broke down, principal from Antigua broke down, teachers broke down, cousin broke down, friends broke down and finally 17 year old broke down (juriors finally saw him as a person)
