At this moment, I don't give a tinker's blow wow what PJ thinks of the IMF. All I care to know is that no leader of the JLP, current or future, will allow these charlatans back into our country to wreak the kind of distress on us that they did in bygone years. I am talking about distress from which we have not recovered and probably never will.
I recall only too well that at the time that the IMF was imposing draconian measures on JA, they entered into the exact same stand-by arrangement with Apartheid South Africa and did not so much as demand devaluation of SA's currency. That sealed it for me. I knew right then and there that the IMF had a mission to destroy our emerging economy and they did a good job.
So my fellow bell-ringing friend, I ask you just this once to admit that Uncle is dead wrong to suggest that we go back to the IMF for any kind of loans at this time.
