{{Of course, Bush's penchant for taking misleading and dishonest photos has not been confined to Iraq. In July of 2002, the President visited a low-income housing development in Atlanta to tout his commitment to funding it. He then proposed a budget that eliminated its funding9,10. Similarly, the President visited a Boys and Girls Club in January of 2003 to tout the organization's efforts.11 He said the club "has got a grand history of helping children." Just four days after his photo-op, he proposed to cut 15% out of funding for the Boys and Girls Club12.}}

Flayva: You said: "The Republicas at it again!!! Don't they have anything else to do in Congress."

I say why shouldn't they push the envelope and have the audacity to suggest that a beloved and brilliant president like FDR be removed from the dime and be replaced by an extreme right winger and "amiable dunce?" The Repugnicans got their way by bullying CBS into not showing the miniseries about Reagan because the network didn't show him walking on water and wearing a halo. And bullies, like sharks, go on an all-out attack when they smell blood in the water. The Democrats continue to roll over like $5 harlots to the wishes of the GOP, eg. the recent Medicare bill, they're silent about Bush's lies; they've also become strangely silent about the treasonous outing of a CIA agent to punish her husband for telling the truth about the lies of the administration which was used to get us into the Iraq war and the resultant daily slaughter of our troops, so why shouldn't these right-wing demons go for it!! :evil :evil :evil
