Maybe I missed a prior post here on it, HR, but prelude to your repost is the fact that the EAC rejected absentee balloting. On turkey day a friend of mine* flew in from Ja with the day's papers and it was front page news in both the Gleaner and Observer. That was not the decision I wanted, but they saw fit to go even further, stating something like "...not for now, not for the medium term, and not for the long term"!! Well, I'll be damned! They aren't even going to study the probability/feasibility.
. . I'm of like mind to Aduku Addae (a fellow "countrybwoy" I see) and believe we'll need organised activism/lobbyism to change their minds.
. . I just poked around The Observer site to try to bring up said Thursday's paper but to no avail. A comment by Keeble MacFarlane here mentions the EAC decision though (third paragraph on).

While browsing The Observer I ran into this gem on the Kareeba (a.k.a. Bush Jacket, and Shirt Jack too, no?). A sure walk down memory lane for some of us.
. . BTW, in case anyone may not know, Ivy Ralph is the mother of actress Sheryl Lee Ralph.

*Fren o'mine is from MoBay and he also brought up several issues of The Mirror, a western paper of new vintage (at least, new to me). Looks good. Saw mention of several friends and relations of mine.
