Ms. Amy when I posted I was going to add "Where is Ms. Amy? She might have archives or know where to find it!" Maam you were always our resident historian. You have not changed.

RC people come and people go. We have had lots of new faces join and lots of old faces go. And then some leave but come back.

I will send an e-mail message to every student past and old to come back under the Tree and give a holiday shout out.

That complexion business is engrained in our mentality. It must be a carry over from slavery. I have my own little story. On a trip back home I went to teh gas staion to get gas and went inside to pay. My friend who is dark skin and who lives in Jamaica also went in. The young lady wouldn't give him "time a day." Then as I opened my mouth ans she hear little accent and she see credit card " I got all attention."

I can remember even when I was growing up I used to hear the term "browning," and "St. Andrew browning."
