HR sometimes that is the one way people have to deal with situations like this. I am close to a situation where the guy did not accept paternity yet he ended up paying child support (not by court order or anything). The child got a good life yet he could see the little differences between his life and the man's other children. Off course he was jealous and quite bitter to the point where he was accused of killing the man who supported him all his life and apparently was after his siblings and the woman ( the man's wife) who saw to it that he got looked after well, even when it came out that the man was right in denying paternity.

Later when the boy looked exactly like another guy and word got out who the real dad was, it made very little difference to the whole situation.

In my work, situations like these come up from time to time and often times, it was better the man had nothing physical to do with the outside child. I tell you that can be really traumatic for all parties. Not all women have the maturity to deal with these situations not all men either. AT least Isiah Thomas ensured the boy's needs were met.

A relative of mine went through pure hell in a like situation for the woman who knew full well that the man was committed to somebody else would not accept that she could not be the person she expected to be in the man's life. The children of the home went through hell too.
