Good Morning Fine Folks:

Hope the New Year has started on the right track for you all. It's OK for me.

Does anybody remember this guy? DANIEL ENGLAND?

England was Calabar's and Jamaica's fastest in the late eighties. England was Calabar's boy, and Jamaica's joy! He was what Donovan Bailey is to Canada and what Maurice Greene is to the USA. The National Stadium always alighted with "fire" when he took the turn for home; and he was KC's most fear opponent on the track. Yes, those were the days....days me and my boys relished....days we have never forgotten.... ..those glorious moments at Boys' Champs and Gibson Relays....and we always wondered whatever became of England. Now we know! Thank God he made a decision that kept him on track (pun intended)....for like others in similar circumstances, he could have gone down the wrong path.

Daniel, I don't know if you are one of those who read these pages, but wherever you are, be assured YOU HAVE NOT FADED INTO OBLIVION. There are those of us who will always remember and THANKS for those glorious moments. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU, OF ALL YOU HAVE EVER ACHIEVED.
