Gentlemen Scholars Program is for black male high school seniors interested in attending Howard University.
Gentlemen Scholars is a program established to facilitate the recruitment and retention of Black Men who are talented in the areas of Leadership and Scholarship, and who will become, while at Howard University and thereafter, integral to the fulfillment of Howard Universitys motto to provide Leadership for America and the Global Community.
Gentlemen Scholars are privy to advantages such as: priority considerations for admissions, advanced access to scholarships, residence, financial aid, and class registration. As Howard students and Gentlemen Scholars, they will be introduced to a network of men that will help them to orient themselves while at Howard University and thereafter. January 16 ? Participant must mail (postmarked by Jan. 16) Gentlemen Scholars Application

January 20 ? Gentlemen Scholars Acceptance/Rejection letters and Howard University Admissions Applications (for accepted participants) mailed.

February 2 ? Participants must mail (postmarked by Feb. 2) Howard University Admissions Applications to Gentlemen Scholars Program.

March 2 ? Gentlemen Scholars Weekend Commences

The 2006 Summer Clerical Program Announcement opened on Friday, December 16, 2005 and will close on Tuesday, January 31, 2006.
