Sis P, I was goiing to tell you about Anonymous, that was a very funny story. Someone asked him about the famous books, poems and plays he/she wrote.
Anyway, nuff people did not make the trip to Flayva's yard from the Gleaner. In fact, one can believe that it was because of security that they could not make it ( Wink, wink, some were posting under several names). One person who did not make it was a person called
looking inside
. A very interesting person who posted on Saturday night and criticized those who were "doing the paper chase". At that time Sis RR was doing a BA, Al B, a MBA and Prof Ugli a doctorate.
Al B
made a very loud and noisy entrance to the Mango Tree. His arguments were sometimes circuitous and he was taken to task by many, espescially
Prof Ugli
. The running insult was Al B's basement apartment that he rented and Prof Ugli's criminal realtives. Al B told us that he knew no-one who made 40K and he was widely ridiculed. Now that he finished his MBA we hope that he is now making making multiples of the 40K.
Yardie
I can't wait for the black history month quiz. My personal inspiration to stop eating arnold.
Prince Charming
(PC) was a very interesting poster. He liked mawga, anoerxic looking white women. He can bake, cook and garden and his posts were mostly pleasant. He came on the board during some turmoil and I christened him the Prince of Darkness. I soon retracted that and can say that I miss his postings. He got a big promotion is now travelling to Europe regularly.
One of my favorite posters was
Maestro
. He was very erudite. I always learn something from him.
There were several ladies that passed though but did not stay,
Pretty Gal, Florida Indian, Zimmy
to name a few.
I got my behind kicked for my opinion on 9-11. There is someone who hangs out under the tree every 9-11 waiting to attack me on my postings. I don't post until late in the day, I just let her wait. I don't think she showed up in 2005. I also hold a minority opinion on Guillani, so I just take my lickings. My life is completely centered around WC and I thank you for the space for a proud mother's indulgence.
AckeeEater
, fellow Leo, interesting poster, loves sports.
Nuff respect and great admiration for
Sis HR
, we all should be so well read and even tempered.
Miss Amy
, always enjoy her post. I wish that she would post more often. She would straighten
Errol's
myopic political views.
Sis RR, Sis Ann,
and the other posters from up north, always a pleasure and to see that they are making the world better.
PatrickH, Irieman and Side???, Native Son, et al
we haven't heard from for a long time.
YG,
has changed and I welcome it. He use to cuss my blouse and skirt.
MTD,
well, this is one man who bought cloth by the yard. But after the trouble makers went away we found out that he has a sweet soft side for children. Thanks for your kind words and shout out to WC and and all the chidren. MTD works at the welfare office and when they found out that he fot his certificate they started sending him all around the world. He speaks very kindly about his missus.
Well, that is all I can remember. Someone covered
Ras Stuart
already. Seems he was friends with one of the posters and had concluded something or another and tried to say that he got personal info from the Gleaner. All hell broke loose. We lost him and some other posters.
Almost forgot
small axe
, yes he can't find a Jamaican woman of his standard and had a Bajie. Bajie would not fold his sox in alphabetical order so he put her out.
The Tree has become part of my life. I have spoken to many of you but have not met anyone. This is cyber space, so please do not sue me. I shared my happiest moments here when WC got in #1 Ivy League University early, my worst when my step- mother died in front of my eyes on a visit to Canada. My brother's medical challenges were also shared. I thank you for your congrats and prayers.
That is how me see it!!
