Abramoff was one foul-mouthed sob. But one of his e-mails is especially amusing. God naw sleep fi true.

"I'm just surprised I am not under 'dead, disgraced or in jail.'" -- June 26, 2001, e-mail by Abramoff to an associate noting the release of an alumni guide for a law firm where he once worked

A lot of people on the left are jumping off of Hillary's bandwagon (including two of my close family members) because she's straddling the fence on important issues. Molly Ivins in her article is full of praise for Eugene McCarthy who was a good man, but that didn't get him into the presidency. Clinton was the only Democratic president to get two terms since Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

AUSTIN, Texas -- I'd like to make it clear to the people who run the Democratic Party that I will not support Hillary Clinton for president.

Enough. Enough triangulation, calculation and equivocation. Enough clever straddling, enough not offending anyone This is not a Dick Morris election. Sen. Clinton is apparently incapable of taking a clear stand on the war in Iraq, and that alone is enough to disqualify her. Her failure to speak out on Terri Schiavo, not to mention that gross pandering on flag-burning, are just contemptible little dodges.
