I hear you HR and you are so right. We are on the same page

As promised, let me recount some encounters with our "officials":

My brother in law was expected to join his family soon so they in Canada were not expecting to travel anywhere any time in the near future, then this . . . So my youngest nephew and his sister both had expired passports when news of their dad'd death came. My youngest nephew is Canadian by birth but niece is Jamaican but awaiting processing for Canadian citizenship. Nephew had absolutely no problem travelling anywhere -not even to enter jamaica but niece had to get permission to enter her born land ( niece is 14, nephew is 12) Needless to say nephew had no problem returning to Canada but niece had real hell as in HELL! Ottawa wanted $230 Canadian ( almost $15, 000 ja) and sis would not get passport on time anyways. So she was told that Jamaica has express processing at extra cost and she decided that was her option.

Lord help mi poor sister especially in her state of wrecked mind. The woman at Canadian embassy treted her like crap and barked the one widdout passport not going anywhere on Thursday> ( this means sis was expected to abandon her one daughter or abandon her whole family in Jamaica-It would cost over $6, 000 canadain to get new tickets if she missed her flight.

So sis headed to passport office trying to get express passport. Round and round she went and everybody had a dirty smirk on their face and would not give proper instruction. Sis got directed to Customer Care and this funny likkle man asked so when is the flight? Sis said Thursday December 1 at 8:10 AM-the man gave sis a date to pick up the passport the same day, December 1 at 9:30 am. That is hour and a half after sis should be on flight back. Sis begged to get it just a day earlier man replied ( in a faggot sounding voice) "We have helped you now what can you do to help yourself". Sis pretended not to understand the language. Man would not budge at all. So YG took charge and went outside and called a former minister who is classmate. Former minister knows that YG not so right in the head so him call passport office big man and siad do better. Sis went in to meet big man, big man was most pissed so for like 45 minutes big man had sis and 14 year old niece just sitting at his desk while he huffed and puffed and for 15 minutes he berated and just simply ranted how they all do that and come expect them to jump and how they can't do that with foreign passport office. Sis said she pulled Canadian expired passport and said this one has no problem but the Jamaican has all the problem. Man even more pissed at sis. So sis had to sit in his majesty's presence for another 30 minutes -in silence" so big man eventually barked the best I can do is another day at noon. that means sis would likely not get through ta embassy for niece to get permit to return home. Anyways sis took that.

Next day passport picked up at noon but all hell broke loose at embassy. Sis had to go to embassy monday to get her permit, Tuesday for another nephew's permit and now Wednesday for niece's permit and they were to travel next day at 8:10 am. Apparently pasport office and embassy working togehter to fix people so all supervisors declared that niece cannot get permit that day. Sis made the hard decision to leave niece behind and tell them niece had better not come to any harm. Embassy woman start lecture siss bout immigrants vs citizens. Sis did argue all this time Niece hollering as loudly as ever in the embassy "I want to go home, I don't want to stay here, I am afraid" No amount of telling her to keep quiet could get her quiet for niece hollered all the more loudly. When sis told them the choice they give he is to either screw her whole family or screw just her one daughter but that she was prepared to take her best option and abandon her one daughter and sis threaten to dump the canadian son on them too people you should soo how fast neice get her permit. People from the gate to the glass windows had their heads in their hands trying to hide the snickers.

At one point sis pulled out her son's expired canadian passport and holler for discrimination! Everybody came to their senses.

People everywhere we went, there was an attempt to rip us off. Funny enough, ti was only with the little people, who had very little that we were not held to ransom.
