Welcome back Yardy. It seems like you've been gone forever!

Rev: BG's plan sounds straightforward on paper, but I have just a few questions/concerns:

What are the consequences if the criminal is not found and charged within 1 month? If there are consequences, who will pay them?

By emphasizing the time frame as to when the trial, as well as the verdict, is to be rendered, the bulk of the crime epidemic is resting on the shoulders of the judicial system.

I feel that BG needs to dig deeper. I would like to see the so called witness protection program revamped. We can have the speediest of trials, but what is the point when witnesses are being gunned down before and after the trial?

I would like to see a plan that would encourage citizens to come forward with information about a crime without fear or retribution from the reprobates.

I would like to see laws enacted that would imprison politicians for aiding and habouring criminals. Exhibit # 1. Babsy Grange.

I would like to see a plan that would reduce the financial and political power that criminals exert over the community and most importantly politicians themselves.

There is no sense of urgency in JA by the populace at large with regard to the mismanagement of our country and the rising violence. People are generally complacent. I think this mood works very well for the govt, because it enables polticians to continue sleeping with the criminals in the same bed. We need a leader who will act! act! act! and not just talk! talk! talk! For the past 10 years all we have had is pure chat!

BG's plan is a start.. but right now it's just not enough.
